Brenda Kay Mills Cold Case

Incident Details: Date of  Disappearance August 2, 1972 Brenda left her home around 7-7:30 p.m headed to the American Legion Hut for some dancing. She left the Hut around 10:30-11:00 p.m., she never made it home. A Missing Person Report: was filed August 3, 1972, by her father. Her body was discovered on August 5, 1972, around 7:00-7:10 p.m. her body was partially uncovered , 20 feet from the road in the woods by the airport, in advanced decomposition. Identified via fingerprints, birthmark on left knee, and clothing remnants. Autopsy and Cause of Death Findings: Severe decomposition (especially head/face), fracture on left mandible (consistent with beating).
